Our Tutors
Meet Brian
Brian has tutored students in both high school mathematics and guitar musicianship since 2015. He earned his BS in Mathematics from the University of Houston in 2017, while operating his self-owned guitar instruction service.
He has over 5 years of in-person, instructional experience with young musicians, covering fundamental techniques, music theory, live performance, equipment selection, and maintenance.

Having seen both sides of math education as a student at UH and as a tutor, he holds the firm belief that failure is the first step to success, regardless of the task. To that end, Brian’s style of teaching encourages students to frequently ask questions, check their own reasoning strategies, and turn mistakes into lessons.
