Our Tutors
Meet John
John graduated with a BS in Biochemistry in 2021, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Houston. As an undergraduate, John taught review sessions for introductory biology courses, and tutored high school students independently. While he loves math and science now, they were actually his least-favorite subjects in high school!
He credits a small handful of special instructors with changing his own interests and career path, and through that experience understands that different students are receptive to different teaching styles. Because of this, he finds it very fulfilling to help students overcome academic challenges through personalized tutoring.
